Truck Roundtable Co-founder Michael Leizerman recovers $16 million verdict for Ohio truck accident case
When large commercial vehicles pull onto the highway without the proper safety protocols, the consequences can be deadly.
A recent truck accident case tried by Truck Roundtable attorney and co-founder Michael Leizerman centered around this dangerous safety issue. Mike recently received a $16 million jury verdict on behalf of the estate of a young woman who was killed in a deadly truck accident on I-75 near Cincinnati, Ohio.
The case centered around the poor construction protocols that permitted dump trucks to enter the fast lane of I-75 without warning, in the middle of the night. In the case, a dump truck pulled out in front of Mr. and Mrs. Poe in October of 2009 and their vehicle rear-ended the dump truck.
The trial was held before Judge Flannery in Lebanon, Ohio. The majority of Michael’s theme centered around alternative construction and traffic methods and warnings that are widely known about and that should have been used to protect the public on the highway.
