Let us show you “How to Win Trucking Cases”
Truck Roundtable attorneys Gursten, Fried and Leizerman to lead Las Vegas legal conference on advanced truck accident litigation strategies
Our Roundtable law firm partners are presenting at the largest legal conference for injury attorneys nationwide this November. The topic is “How to Win Trucking Cases – 2015 Advanced Course.” It’s sponsored by the 360 Advocacy Group, and will run Nov. 1-3 in Las Vegas, at the Encore Hotel.
There’s an immense amount of blood, sweat and tears that goes into correctly litigating serious accident lawsuits involving commercial motor vehicles.
Litigating these truck cases – and getting the best possible verdict or settlement for your client – usually requires lawyers to have an understanding of science, engineering, truck systems, driver training, regulations and industry practices.
And of course, the law.
A qualified truck accident attorney also needs the experience, insight, and knowledge of how to apply this information to all stages of the case in legal discovery – from investigation and analysis to case prep and eventually to trial. And the attorney needs to be able to present the safety violations or choices that the trucking company or driver made in a way that a jury will be able to understand – especially when skilled defense counsel like to argue that these are insignificant or nit-picky things (not safety violations that put all of us at risk).
This is exactly what “How to Win Trucking Cases: Advanced Course” will teach injury lawyers from around the country. It’s an advanced legal seminar focused on the skills, tactics and techniques that teach lawyers how to apply this information.
For three days, the top plaintiff trucking lawyers and trucking experts in the U.S. will share their expertise through lecture, discussion, and trial demonstrations. The goal is to give attendants the knowledge to successfully litigate and win all types of trucking cases.
My own topic is “Settlement Tips and Strategies in Truck Accident Cases.”
Joe Fried’s topics are “Industry Standards for Truckers and Motor Carriers: What They Are and Where to Find Them” and “Industry Standards for Truckers and Motor Carriers: Application to Exam Corporate Designees, Safety Directors and Drivers.”
And Michael Leizerman’s topics are, “The Disabled Commerical Vehicle Case,” and “Closing Argument: Getting All You Ask For.”
The 360 Advocacy Institute is a group that hosts legal conferences and seminars for plaintiff personal injury lawyers. The group was formed in response to the pressures and tactics of the insurance industry and to fill the vacuum in education that exists in teaching lawyers how to better litigate in specialized areas, such as truck collision cases.
Stay tuned for blog posts with more information and a preview of litigation tips from each of our conference topics.
