Roundtable members Michael Leizerman and Joe Fried are speaking at the upcoming prestigious trucking accident legal seminar in Las Vegas

How to win trucking cases

This November, two the attorneys from the Truck Accident Attorneys Roundtable will be speaking at a prestigious seminar event in Las Vegas, Nevada. Joe Fried and Michael Leizerman will both be sharing their knowledge and experience as two of the nation’s top truck accident lawyers  at the upcoming event.  Jordan Jones, the Truck Accident Attorneys Roundtable Executive Director, will also be at the seminar.

The seminar is called “How to Win Trucking Cases 2013” and it’s sponsored by the 360 Advocacy Institute. It runs from Sunday, November 3, through Tuesday, November 5, 2013, in the Wynn hotel and casino in Las Vegas.

Over three-day trucking seminar, Joe and Mike will share their knowledge of truck accident litigation with hundreds of other lawyers from across the country. They will teach those in attendance the legal skills necessary to conduct discovery in truck accidents, and the necessary trial skills to successfully litigate a semi-truck accident case if it goes to a jury.

The speakers will share their expertise through lecture, discussion and demonstrations, to assure that everybody who attends is armed with the knowledge to attack all types of trucking cases and win. More importantly, the skills and practices highlighted by the faculty at the event will allow all truck accident attorneys, of all experience levels, to obtain better results for their clients.

Joe Fried will be moderating the seminar and speaking on November 3 and November 4. His first lecture will highlight some of the key Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. He will also discuss critical industry documents which will prove invaluable to your case against the trucking company, as well as defensive driving rules.

Joe’s second presentation is the following day. He will be discussing bad weather truck crashes in great detail. Joe will draw upon his success as a truck accident lawyer to explain how to litigate these types of crashes, which are very challenging because of defense arguments like the “sudden emergency.” Where bad weather is a factor, it can also make proving negligence more difficult. But Joe will discuss how to flip the scenario on its head and actually make the bad weather work to your advantage. For instance, by arguing that the truck driver was negligently operating his semi-truck considering the driving conditions.

Michael Leizerman is making two presentations as well – both on November 5. Michael’s presentations will be delivered back to back. Michael will also be present the final two discussions of the seminar, first to discuss  load broker, shipper, and loader claims. His second presentation is a comprehensive discussion about successfully making your closing argument to the jury. Michael will discuss how to ask the jury to award your client what they truly deserve.

Whether you’re an experienced truck accident attorney or a newly minted lawyer fresh out of law school, this is a seminar you cannot miss.

The attorney members of the Truck Accident Attorneys Roundtable look forward to seeing you there.
