Attorney Steven Gursten named to prestigious Trucking Trial Lawyers Top 10
Longtime truck accident lawyer Steve Gursten named to national invitation-only group comprised of the most successful trucking trial lawyers
There are several reasons why I’m passionate about being a truck accident attorney.
The most important ones are the opportunities I’ve had to seek justice for those injured in trucking accidents, and while doing this to also advocate for safety changes within an industry where too often safety is ignored – or dismissed as an added cost. I feel like I’ve helped make positive changes and hopefully helped to make companies more safe, hire better drivers, and helped prevent wrecks and save lives.
So it is a nice honor to be recognized by the Trucking Trial Lawyers Association as one of the Trucking Trial Lawyers Top 10.
As a truck accident attorney, I’ve litigated some 300 truck accident cases, each of which involved people and families whose lives have been devastated by a terrible truck crash. I’m proud to say I’ve recovered millions for accident victims nationwide.
But without my colleagues, these efforts couldn’t have been possible.
That’s why being part of groups like the Trucking Trial Lawyers Association and its Trucking Trial Lawyers Top 10 is so important to me.
While these groups offer the networking, referral and resource-sharing that are essential to building our practice, it’s the continuing legal education and advocacy training that make us better lawyers and provide high-quality legal representation for clients.
I frequently educate other attorneys on how to handle truck accident cases, because truck accident lawyers play a crucial role in forcing trucking companies to pay more attention to public safety. Often times, it’s only the truck accident lawyers and the threat of lawsuits that push insurance companies and unsafe trucking companies to reform dangerous policies.
Only the best trucking trial lawyers are here
The Trucking Trial Lawyers Top 10 is an invitation-only group, so not just any attorney can join. Rather, the professional organization is limited to the Top 10 attorneys from each state or area that serve families and individuals who need representation in a trucking accident claim.
They’ve displayed leadership, reputation, influence and performance in their practices, so it’s an honor for me to be invited into such a prestigious group — and to also be involved in other organizations like the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America, the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys and the American Association for Justice’s Interstate Truck Litigation Group, where all three of our Truck Attorney Roundtable founders have served as president.
Sharing our knowledge, experience and expertise with other attorneys and law firms across the country will not just better serve injured truck accident victims, but make the system itself better in the long run.
